Adele is looking for houses in the countryside as London's smog may adversely affect her voice. The Set Fire to the Rain singer underwent surgery for a vocal cord haemorrhage in early November. Adele is currently recovering from the operation. The London native and current resident is interested in leaving the hustle and bustle of the city for a more peaceful setting. “Adele is a London girl through and through, but she's never been particularly into the showbiz circuit so when it was suggested she move out of the city, she agreed immediately,” a source told British newspaper the Mirror. “The idea is for her to live in the countryside, away from the capital's smog and pollution.” Adele is seeking rest and relaxation while she recuperates. “The operation went well but she still needs to take good care of herself,” the source added. Adele is deeply invested in her health at the moment. She wants her voice to be fit for the stage again as soon as possible. “She's desperate to be fit for the Grammys [in February] and be back singing as soon as possible,” the source said.
