A court has given a man accused of being a serial child rapist one week to respond to a list of charges against him. The man who is alleged to have raped a number of young girls denied all charges against him before the Jeddah court on Wednesday. The Prosecutor General is demanding the strictest punishment for the 42-year-old due to the large amount of incriminating evidence against him. Informed sources told Al-Watan Arabic daily that “the adjournment was to enable the accused to respond to the list of charges leveled against him.” The charges include abducting eight girls, aged 6-12, and forcing them to have sex with him. He kidnapped the girls from different places, assaulted them, and forced them to drink alcohol and watch pornography with him, the charges said. Then he allegedly left them in the street. The accused has been in Briman Prison for the last six months since he was arrested for the crime.
