The Kingdom, in looking after the welfare of its citizens, applies the principles of good governance, equality and justice to people in all walks of life. At the practical level, our judicious leadership has applied the principle of balanced representation in government. This is manifested in the Royal Decrees issued by King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. It is clear that these orders are designed to protect the welfare and interest of the citizenry in keeping with international political and economic developments. This is reflected in the selection of Prince Salman Bin Abdul Aziz to fill the post of Minister of Defense, which will reinforce the country's political and economic strength. These principles will enable the nation's leaders to move forward with their plans for the future of the people and the country. At a time when countries across the region are looking for new concepts to overcome the crises that they face, King Abdullah's Royal Decrees serve as a strong foundation for the Kingdom's quest to give its people a better future. Today, the national responsibility is to dedicate our efforts to help strengthen our sovereignty as a country and people. The King's wisdom and judicious decisions provide the means for us to realize our aspirations based on the principles of justice and equality. __
