The entire country is celebrating the glorious day in the history of this nation and the Arab and Islamic world. It is a shining day in the history of the country and people who have been working very hard for its development and progress. Thus, no doubt the country's future is expected to be brighter than the present and its present more prosperous than the past.
Almighty Allah has blessed this country with judicious leaders who dedicated their lives in the service of the nation, people and million of Muslims who come from all corners of the world to perform their rituals as pilgrims. King Abdul Aziz laid the foundation for the unity of this country and his sons after him had been following in his footsteps.
The country has reached the peak of its progress during the rule of King Abdullah, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, on the basis of the Holy Qur'an and Prophet's Sunnah. During his reign, the Kingdom has witnessed a comprehensive development in all walks of life in a short time, manifested in the rules and regulations he adopted which consolidated the principles of justice and stability. He also consolidated the concepts of transparency and honesty.
By all measures, the National Day is an exceptional day in the lives of the people in the Kingdom as it reminds them with the country's glory and sacrifices of their ancestors. It also offers a unique opportunity for every citizens to ask himself or herself before being asked what he or she has contributed for the progress of the country.
