The foundation of the late Prince Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz (may Allah shower His mercy on him), has donated 200,000 meals to Haj pilgrims at the holy sites. Muhammad Al-Harthi, spokesman of Al-Siqaya and Al-Rifada Committee in Makkah and the holy sites, said the food parcels were being distributed in various areas using 30 refrigerated trucks. In addition, the Ibrahim Aal Ibrahim Foundation is distributing 180,000 meals daily. There are also 150,000 meals being handed out by Hadiyat Al-Haj wal Mu'tamir Charitable Society (Haj and Umrah Pilgrim's Gift Charitable Society). Al-Harthi added that Dr. Abdul Aziz Al-Khudhairi, Undersecretary of Makkah Governorate and Chairman of Al-Siqaya and Al-Rifada Committee in Makkah and the holy sites, approved the distribution of about two million meals to pilgrims. He said the committee is the only authority responsible for distributing charity food. Philanthropists are referred to charities that have permits to carry out this noble deed. __
