Crown Prince Naif Bin Abdul Aziz, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, is overseeing the preparations for this year's Haj and has visited the holy sites to see for himself the effectiveness of a plan drawn up by a group of experts for the smooth movement of pilgrims throughout the Haj season. The plan will provide assistance to the guests of Allah and ensure that they are able to perform their rituals with ease and comfort. The comprehensive plan covers the security, administrative, technical and health concerns of pilgrims. The four aspects are the key to making the Haj season safe and comfortable for pilgrims. Prince Naif's tour, undertaken after he was named Crown Prince and after the nation pledged allegiance to him, is meant to make Haj this year a success. This is a big responsibility and honor bestowed upon him - to look after the welfare of the masses, who will gather in one place to perform Haj. Thus, pilgrims are expected to devote themselves to the noble purpose for which they have traveled to Makkah from all parts of the world. That purpose is to worship and supplicate Allah. They should refrain from any practices that may distract them from this noble purpose. The occasion is not a time for wrangling or making any political statement but to purify and cleanse oneself from all sin. __
