Ballack breaks nose in win Bayer Leverkusen says Michael Ballack broke his nose in the 1-0 win at Freiburg in the Bundesliga. Leverkusen confirmed the injury on its website Saturday, after the former Germany captain underwent a checkup at a Freiburg clinic Friday night after the match.
