Slovakia's Dominika Cibulkova continued her rich vein of form by crushing Russian Elena Vesnina 6-0, 6-2 in the Kremlin Cup semifinals Saturday to reach her second final in as many weeks. The eighth seed, who lost to Wimbledon champion Petra Kvitova in last week's Linz Open final, will face unseeded Estonian Kaia Kanepi in Sunday's showpiece at the Olympic indoor arena in Moscow. The 43rd-ranked Kanepi came from a set down to topple Czech Lucie Safarova 6-7, 6-4, 6-3 in the second semifinal. The men's final Sunday will be an all-Serbian affair between top seed Janko Tipsarevic and last year's winner, Viktor Troicki, the number two seed. Troicki beat French qualifier Jeremy Chardy 6-4, 6-4 in the first semifinal, and Tipsarevic prevailed over Russia's fourth seed Nikolay Davydenko 6-2, 7-5 in the last match on center court. Cibulkova, who upset top seed Vera Zvonareva in Friday's quarter-finals, had little trouble against Vesnina and eased into the final in just over an hour when her unseeded opponent dumped a tame smash into the net on match point. Monfils-Nieminen final In Stockholm, top-seeded Gael Monfils beat No. 6 Milos Raonic 6-7 (6), 6-4, 6-3 Saturday to set up a Stockholm final against Jarkko Nieminen. The 10th-ranked Monfils converted three of nine break points against the hard-serving Canadian as he looks for his first title of the year. Nieminen beat American player James Blake 7-6 (5), 5-7, 6-2 to reach his third Stockholm Open final. Blake, who beat 15th-ranked Juan Martin Del Potro before getting a walkover into the semifinals after David Nalbandian pulled out with an injury, double-faulted seven times and struggled with his serve throughout. Azarenka faces Niculescu in final In Luxembourg, top-seeded Victoria Azarenka advanced to the Luxembourg Open final Saturday by beating Julia Goerges of Germany 6-3, 6-3. She will play Monica Niculescu of Romania, who reached her first WTA final by ousting Britain's Anne Keothavong 7-5, 4-6, 6-3 in a match lasting more than three hours. The third-ranked Azarenka broke her opponent five times, and saved seven of the nine break points she faced herself. The 34th-ranked Niculescu has spent most of her career on the ITF circuit but is enjoying her best month ever, having also made the semifinals of the China Open.
