Director Mustafa Al Shal is currently preparing to begin filming the first scenes of the new television drama “Silsal Al-Dam” (Blood Chain) to be aired during the Ramadan season of 2012. Mustafa has nominated Egyptian actresses Ola Ghanem and Randa Al-Buhairi to take part in the drama. It is scheduled to begin filming the first scenes after the Eid Al-Adha holidays. According to the London based Elaph, prominent Egyptian actress Abla Ghanem and actor Riyadh Al- Khouli have been chosen for the leading roles in the drama. The remaining cast is currently being selected, in addition to the selection of different filming locations with the focus on rural and mountainous areas. The events of the drama revolve around the conflict between good and evil. Riyadh plays the role of a ruthless mayor who takes possession of people's lands and possessions by force and Abla plays the role of the woman who stands up to him and refuses to cave in. The drama is written by Majdi Saber, directed by Mustafa Al Shal and produced by the company “Mohammad Fawzi Films.”
