Khoja inks contracts worth SR45m

Dr. Abdul Aziz Khoja, Minister of Culture and Information, Wednesday signed a SR25 million contract to supply the ministry with an external television transmission truck.
He also signed another SR20 million contract to supply six vehicles containing links for satellite communication.
Dr. Riyad Bin Kamal Najm, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture and Information for Media Affairs, said that the two contracts support Saudi television with the latest equipment to be able to keep up with technological advancement.
He said the external transport vehicle is equipped with 10 cameras, but can accommodate up to 16 high-resolution cameras.
