During its participation here in the Saudi Build Expo 2011 along with several Saudi companies and more than 700 participants from 34 countries, Kuwait, represented by the Public Authority of Industry, is showcasing samples of local products that highlights its industrial prosperity. Kuwait's participation in the 23rd International Construction Technology and Building Materials Exhibition reflects its keenness in attending important trade events in the Kingdom, and its desire in boosting and supporting cooperation among companies and institutions of the two countries, said Saqr Al-Anzi, Deputy Director General for Industrial Exports department at the Public Authority of Industry. Al-Anzi added that the Expo is an opportunity to display the latest building materials and equipment, architectural finishing products, construction tools and technology, engineering services, infrastructure materials, and security and safety systems, noting that this extravaganza will be attended by heads and representatives of major companies specialized in construction and technology. The Kuwaiti section, which features 10 participants, provides an exchange of expertise and an overview on new products with companies from Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Middle East, he said.
