Saudi Arabia's transport sector is on the right track in providing integrated transport and logistics facilities that will support the economic and social development of the country, Faisal Ali Al-Zibin, Deputy Minister of Transport, said Monday. The deputy minister made the comments while opening the three-day Second International Transportation, Material Handling, Warehousing and Logistics Exhibition and Conference at the Dhahran International Exhibition Center. “The Ministry of Transport is setting up robust transport modes that will enhance the global competitiveness of the Kingdom, and the presence of these local and international companies participating in this exhibition expresses that determination,” Al-Zibin said. He toured the exhibition center after addressing delegates at the conference. The Saudi transport sector is projected to experience a big leap in terms of investments during the next five years as demand for services in transport and logistics increases. __
