The media campaign dubbed “Haj is worship and civilized behavior” was launched Saturday to mark its fourth year. The campaign, announced by Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, Emir of Makkah region, aims to raise public awareness about the importance of complying with rules and adopting civilized behavior when performing Haj. Ministries, organizations, companies and Tawafa establishments have been enjoined to participate in this campaign to achieve its sought-after goals. The campaign seeks to make citizens, expatriates and pilgrims coming from other countries understand the importance of abiding by regulations and instructions during the Haj season and about the performance of the holy ritual. The campaign seeks to eradicate adverse conditions that may arise during the season like performing Haj without a license, sleeping in open, blocking passageways and other situations which should be curbed and eventually eradicated. The campaign aims to make Haj more secure and safer for pilgrims as well as prevent any accidents or mistakes that might hinder pilgrims' movement and spoil the spiritual solemnity of Haj. __
