Al-Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University in Riyadh is an oasis of knowledge in Islamic studies, Holy Qur'an, and jurisprudence, in addition to several other disciplines such as language, social sciences, media, computer science, economics and administrative sciences, medicine, and engineering.
Professor Dr. Sulaiman bin Abdullah Aba Alkhail, Chancellor of Al-Imam University announced that Al-Imam is developing a medical city adjacent to the university with a capacity of 1,200 patient beds. The announcement was made at an open forum held in the university three days ago where the Chancellor greeted freshman students and congratulated them on their acceptance to Al-Imam University.
Dr. Alkhail urged the youth to concentrate on their studies, work hard, seek knowledge, and to respect the faculty members by exhibiting their best behavior.
He stressed that all students must learn time management since it is a key to success. He also reminded students to always renew their intention of studying, which should be to serve the Muslim community and their country.
“Rekindle your devotion to this country because it is the spring from which Islam emerged, the land of the Revelation, and the home and safe haven for Muslims from all over the world,” said Dr. Alkhail.
He proudly added that Al-Imam University is one of the top higher education institutions in the Kingdom. The university is keen on educating generations of students within the country and across international arenas. Al-Imam has opened colleges in various parts of the world, such as the United States, Indonesia, Djibouti, Malaysia, and Japan.
What makes Al-Imam University stand out among other educational institutions is that it has encompassed under one roof both Islamic Studies disciplines as well as other fields such as social sciences and applied sciences.
That is what makes Al-Imam University unique, since it aims to provide the society with well-rounded individuals who possess strong morals and Islamic principles who are also highly educated and trained to enter the workforce. __
