The first batch of pilgrims for this year's Haj arrived at King Abdul Aziz International Airport here, Wednesday. The batch consists of two groups of South African pilgrims. Hani Bin Hashim Nasiruddin, Supervisor General of the Tawafa Organization for Non-Arab African Countries, and a number of officials welcomed the pilgrims and wished them a good stay at the holy sites. Tawafa is an organization that guides pilgrims in their performance of the rituals. The South African pilgrims were referred to the Field Service Office number 27 in Makkah. The pilgrims will be served meals, escorted to their lodgings and then taken to the Grand Mosque, he added.
