King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology and the Ministry of Education on Sunday implemented a joint scientific project to allow Saudi students to conduct research and participate in scientific experiments executed onboard the International Space Station (ISS). The project provides an important experience for Saudi students, enhances their integration in important fields, gives them the chance to experience the atmosphere of scientific research and brings out their creativity, officials said. It also drives them to focus on the future of important sciences and branches of knowledge to instill in students' minds, officials added. The Kingdom exerts great efforts in this regard. The joint project also allows students to conduct research in fields such as pharmacy, biology and nanotechnology. __
