The Charity Social Fund has signed 90 job-oriented training agreements worth SR160 million. The two-year contracts will provide training to 10,481 female and male job seekers, said Adel Farhat, the fund's Director General. He said the training program includes courses in professional marketing and sales. Trainees in these areas, he said, will be required to attend 15 sessions in different parts of schools. He said the fund has set a condition for the employers to pay a minimum of SR3,000 salary to the successful trainees. They should also be registered in the General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI) and provided with comprehensive medical insurance. He said the fund gives priority to the kin of those who benefit from the services of charitable societies, social insurance and the committee caring for prisoners as well as orphans. The agreements cover most of the Kingdom's regions and those establishments which have agreed to provide jobs to the trainees including food companies, restaurants, housing sector, readymade retail sales, amusement parks and tourist facilities, tailors shops, hairdressing, beauty centers, marketing and construction sector.
