Abdul Salik Khan, Consul General of Pakistan, has appealed to members of the Pakistani community here and Saudi philanthropists to generously donate to assist those affected by the recent devastating floods in his country. The consul general has formed a committee for relief activities in the Western Region of the Kingdom. The committee consists of the following: Hijab Gul, Chairman (0500183683), Muhammad Tariq (02-6605814), Nasrullah Khan (02-6611661), Jehangir Mushtaq Virk (02-6633605), and Muhammad Iqbal (02-6605400), a press release issued by the Pakistani consulate here said. The unprecedented rains, the consul general said, have caused huge loss to the life of people, livestock, crops and properties.
