The Consulate General of India, Jeddah in cooperation with Indian Pilgrims Welfare Forum will organize the annual All India Mushaira 2011 on Sept. 22 at the International Indian School, Jeddah (IISJ), Boys Section. The poets expected to participate in the Mushaira are: Bekal Utsahi, Waseem Barelvi, Munawwar Rana, Mansoor Usmani, Johar Kanpuri, Anjum Barabankavi, Tayyeb Pasha, Usman Menai, Majid Deobandi, Polular Merathi, Muztar Majaz, Musawwir Dehlvi, Hasan Abbas, Tariq Qamar, Ms. Shabina Adeeb and Ms. Shaista Sana, a press release issued by the consulate said. Indian expatriates interested to attend the Mushaira may send in their requests for invitation cards with name, Iqama number and mobile number by e-mail to: [email protected] by Sept.13 till 5 P.M. Invitation cards will be issued on first come first served basis. A maximum of two persons per application will be entertained. Final list of invitees will be posted on www.cgijeddah.com and put up on IISJ notice board at 10 A.M. on Sept. 20. Distribution of invitation cards will take place on Sept. 20 and 21 at IISJ, Boys Section from 6 to 8 P.M. Children below 12 years will not be allowed, the press release added.
