The heat wave that has scorched the Eastern Province for several months is now ebbing with temperature ranging between 28 to 30 degrees Celsius in the morning, according to the Presidency of Meteorology and Environment (PME) in Dhahran. “Temperature is now going down, indicating that we are now entering the fall season, which heralds the coming of winter,” the head of the forecasting department at the PME in Dhahran said. He said winter is expected to start by December. He said Saudi Arabia experienced again this year one of its hottest seasons with temperature registering 49 degree Celsius during the months of June and July. Current temperature now lingers between 42 and 44 degrees Celsius at noon time. In 2010, the highest temperature reached 50.25 degrees Celsius. The official said the Kingdom will be enjoying fair weather starting November. __
