Petro Rabigh, Azkals-Alshaya, Al-Tamayuz, Mohap and Danube win

Alshaya, Al-Tamayuz, Mohap and Danube are among the popular teams emerged victorious last week at the FBA basketball tournament at the Sheraton Jeddah Sports Complex here.
The three-month long tourney is supported by Royal Business Club, Tony G's, Himalaya Herbals, Argo Navis-Water Purifier, Bison Energy Drink, Fruits in Ice Cream, Royal Brunei, Sky Freight Forwarders, Giordano and the PESOS group.
In a thrilling game last week, Petro Rabigh beat another strong team Danube 98-90. However, Danube recovered from its first loss by defeating Faisal team in its second game, 84-73. Best scorers for Petro Rabigh were Noblejas (31 points), Elamparo (22) and Abatayo (12), while EJ (21), Silot (18) and Fuentes (12) did well for Danube.
Azkals-Alshaya made its record 2-0 by handing out a 80-75 defeat to Faisal team. Veteran player Ocampo led the winner's scorers with 16 points, followed by Mendoza 14 and Naz 13, while key players Mangaya (22), Bajas (20) and Buhano (13) led the scoring for Faisal.
Al-Tamayuz team beat Unidecor in a double overtime at 90-88. It was a dingdong battle and both teams were in high spirit to win the game. Instrumental for Tamayuz win were Creencia (23), Murfa (20) and Poliquit (11), while good efforts of Villanueva (35), Fuertez (13) and Buhat (12) of Unidecor still failed to stop Tamayuz.
Paninos team failed to succeed in its third match by losing to a strong team Mohap in a thriller at 74-65. Best scorers for Mohap were Bajas (16), Diop (14), Herero (13), while Brinas (24), Eborda (14) and Huerto (9) led the loser's fightback.
