The Riyadh Islamic Cultural Center and the Women's Section at the World Wide Association for Introducing Islam (WWAII) organized an Iftar program here at the weekend for various communities under the patronage of Princess Al-Anoud Bint Abdul Rahman Bin Ahmad. Nawar Al-Dakheel, wife of Qatari Ambassador, the Japanese cultural attaché and some female guests attended the event. Princess Al-Anoud praised the efforts of the organizers. “I did not expect to see such great effort. The program focuses on all ages and nationalities. I saw happiness in the eyes of the children, girls and women because of the way they were welcomed by the WWAII female employees. Non-Muslims were also invited and introduced to the peaceful message of Islam. Some of them reverted to Islam, thanks to Allah the Almighty.” Princess Al-Anoud was happy to see Saudi girls welcome guests of different nationalities in their own languages. “I hope one day to see centers teaching Japanese and Chinese to girls.” Awatif Al-Mutairi, a Dawah activist, gave a lecture called “Freshen Up Your Life” and advised people to take advantage of Ramadan to make changes to their lives and improve relations with their relatives. The program also had contests and shows for children, with gifts handed out to the little ones.
