The Coordination Council of Makkah, Jeddah and Taif Chambers of Commerce and Industry held its first meeting Monday in Taif to support private sector projects, improve the performance of the chambers of commerce and industry, develop services to subscribers and keep up with global economic changes to support the business sector. The meeting was attended by Saleh Abdullah Kamel, Chairman of the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry Board of Directors; Talal Bin Abdul Wahab Mirza, Chairman of Makkah Chamber of Commerce and Industry Board of Directors; Naif Bin Abdullah Al-Adwani, Chairman of Taif Chamber of Commerce and Industry Board of Directors; Salah Bin Abdullah Al-Haddad, Secretary General of Taif Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Adnan Shafi, Secretary General of Makkah Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Naif Al-Adwani said that the meeting was held following Kamel's initiative to unify efforts to support existing investments and enhance services provided by businessmen. Kamel emphasized the importance of supporting small and medium businesses, productive families and organizing social solidarity efforts encouraged by Islam. Kamel also called for support and implementation of charitable initiatives. __
