Visitors to Nayara Nights, a Ramadan event that began Friday in Qassim with a large crowd, can buy more than 30 popular products made by the region's Saudi craftswomen and families. The Women's Cooperative Association (Herfa) in the region is organizing the craftswomen's market, which includes traditional food, antique furniture, new lines of handmade clothing, and highly creative jewelry and accessories. Reem Al-Jame', Director General of Herfa, said Nayara Nights introduces people to a number Saudi products, including those created by productive families and craftswomen. “Herfa markets their products,” she said, adding that it aims to open more channels for them, so these families and craftswomen can earn more money and lead a decent life. Craftswomen own shares in Herfa capital, said Al Jame', who expects participants in Neyara Nights to be financially successful, given the huge turnout. The organization also provides programs on food safety and issues health certificates for craftswomen who make food by hand. __
