The device can be obtained through STC customer service offices at the Smart and Al Ghudeer towers in Riyadh, the offices located at Prince Mohammed Bin Abdul Aziz Road and Prince Sultan Road in Jeddah, and at the Muntazah branch at Dahran Road in Al-Khobar, for only SR2,799 along with a free 5GB SAWA Internet card every month or three months. The Chromebook device is unique as it doesn't need a hard disk, programs, or operating systems, since everything that the customer needs is available at the Internet. The device is also distinguished by the longevity of its batteries, which can operate continuously for 8.5 hours. Additionally, it is also distinguished by its light weight (1.5 kg), and it doesn't need an Internet modem for it to operate, since there is a built in SIM card that directly connects to the Internet. The device also includes a WiFi service, and is processed under Intel ATOM Processor N5701.66Ghz Speed The device also includes Google Chrome browser, 2GB Standard System Memory DDR3 Memory Type, and 16 GB internal memory card. Since it does not operate under an operating system, there is no chance for viruses or spyware programs to enter the device, as well as no need for a program serial number or updates, and it only takes 10 seconds for it to operate. In addition, the device is distinguished by its beautiful design which comes in both white and black plastic colors. The device is also equipped with a video outlet, memory card slot, and an outlet for speakers and microphones. Users can also take advantage of Google free programs, including Gmail, browsing the Internet via Google chrome browser, Google talk, Picasa Photo program, Google Docs, and 1,000 other programs. By launching this product, STC confirms its superiority in providing special offers and smart devices to the market, and it also took upon its self to develop the industry in the Saudi telecom market in order to reach the high expectation level of its customers, and give them the opportunity to obtain and enjoy these services.
