Saudi Telecom Company (STC) has reduced the monthly subscription price for both postpaid and prepaid Blackberry packages to SR79 ($21.06) instead of SR99, with 1000 megabyte data size, unlimited usage of Blackberry messenger and e-mail in addition to 5 free megabytes at international roaming. There is also the Blackberry weekly package which is distinguished by high flexibility and easiness, at unprecedented prices for new and current Sawa and Lana customers who use Blackberry devices. It allows weekly subscription to this package at only SR29 and contains a 120 megabytes free data package and unlimited usage of Blackberry messenger and e-mail, said the company. Eng. Nawaf Bin Saad Al Shalani, General Manager of Corporate Communication at STC, said earlier that STC follows a clear and unified mechanism to promote its services and launch its marketing offers and promotions using the conventional well known media channels or through the authorized distributors that have been selected meticulously by the STC Group to ensure fixed prices that cannot be increased or reduced in any way to jeopardize the customers' interests.
