Princess Hessa Bint Tarrad Al-Shalan, the wife of King Abdullah, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and Chairwoman of the National Home Health Care Foundation (NHHCF) will sponsor the 12th “Wind Carpet” Charitable Festival in Ramadan from Aug. 5 to 9 at the Jeddah International Center of Forums and Activities. Princess Adela Bint Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz, Director of the NHHCF branch in the Western Region, said 160 foundations inside and outside the Kingdom will participate in the festival. The festival aims to instill the values of social responsibility and volunteering. This year has seen a growing number of small projects which have been carefully selected, Princess Adela said. The NHHCF combines patient care and the development of home health care. The Ministry of Health has begun providing these services in all regions of the Kingdom. The NHHCF has had two projects at an international level, at the 20th Annual Medical Conference of the Canadian Home Health Care Foundation held in Quebec. “The NHHCF talked about its experience in this field and won the prize for the most creative and ambitious participation.”
