Health care centers of three towns failed to provide an ambulance for a Pakistani man injured in a car accident at the road connecting Al-Skhana and Duraigit. Officials of these centers claimed their ambulances have been in maintenance for two months. The victim, in his 20s, bled on the ground for more than two hours before a Red Crescent ambulance arrived from Asbatar, 120 km away, transported him to Al-Shimli General Hospital. A witness to the accident reported the accident to the healthcare centers of Duraigit, Dhargat and Anbwan and asked them to send help and take the man to the nearest hospital. Directors of the centers, Ali Awad, Meshal Al-Onizi and Tha'ar Al-Rashidi, respectively, said they did not have ambulances because they were being repaired. __
