Construction Products Holding Company (CPC), specializing in manufacturing materials, announced 6,737 job openings for Saudi youths in its various factories and companies in the Kingdom, Dr. Faysal Alaquil, Director of Business Development and Administration Affairs, told the Saudi Gazette. The jobs, created by the company's outstanding employment programs, are in engineering of various disciplines and in production lines, maintenance and operation, said Dr. Alaquil, who is also the official spokesman for CPC. “Included in this opportunity is training in technical and vocational jobs,” he said. CPC was recently selected Saudi Arabia's best Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) firm for the year 2011. Dr. Alaquil reiterated the private sector's support to the government towards helping reduce unemployment among young Saudi men and women. “We recognize how important it is for national companies to support the government's efforts to create more jobs for Saudi youths and bring them to the mainstream of national development,” Dr. Alaquil said. CPC offers training in its one-of-a-kind Industrial park in Bahra, the most advanced Industrial complex in the region. The company recently signed a series of agreements with Human Resources Development Fund and aligned itself with the Ministry of Labor's nationalization program, which was drawn up in collaboration with the National Institute of Technology. “CSR has become a major gateway for both the public and private sectors to address social and economic issues for the well-being of citizens,” Dr. Alaquil said. __
