RIYADH: Prince Salman Center for Disability Research (PSCDR) and McGraw-Hill Education Services, a leading global provider of educational materials, information and solutions have joined hands to develop educational programs that support people with learning disabilities. Dr. Sultan Bin Turki Al-Sudairy, Executive Director, PSCDR and Hashim Abdullah Al-Dabbagh, McGraw-Hill Education Services Country Manager for Business Development, Saudi Arabia, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in Riyadh Sunday to work together and develop educational programs for people with learning disabilities. Dr. Ahmed Bakr, Deputy Executive Director, PSCDR for Academic and Training Affairs was also present. Dr. Al-Sudairy said PSCDR has a keen interest to create strategic partnerships with international academic centers and research institutions and sought cooperation in the field of education by developing programs that help people with learning disabilities. “McGraw-Hill is one of the oldest and leading institutions in the field of education and research and development, he said. Baker said that cooperation between PSCDR and McGraw-Hill will go a long way in exploring better techniques and develop learning tools in the field of education. He said the partnership is vital for the implementation of the PSCDR's five-year strategic plan, which has a great focus on learning disabilities. PSCDR is a pioneering research institution in the Kingdom and plays an important role in the field of learning disabilities, which is one of the most important scientific programs carried out by the PSCDR.
