COVENTRY, Britain: Prince Mohammed Bin Nawaf Bin Abdul Aziz, Saudi Ambassador to the United Kingdom, inaugurated the Fifth Saudi International Conference at Warwick University in Coventry City in the United Kingdom, Friday evening. Addressing the conference, the ambassador pointed out that more than 100,000 students, including 16,000 students in the United Kingdom, have so far benefited from The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Program for Foreign Scholarships. The ambassador noted that the Saudi government has been investing billions in building new universities and schools and ensuring comprehensive reform of the education system. Prince Mohammed stressed that the embassy's doors are always open to Saudi students. Dr. Bakri Asas, President of Umm Al-Qura University, described the conference as a historical event. Professor Ghazi Al-Makki, Saudi Cultural Attaché to the United Kingdom and Ireland, said the conference will help meet Saudi Arabia's development needs. Prince Mohammed also opened an exhibition of 73 Scientific Posters and visited Warwick Factories Group for Manufacturing.
