JEDDAH: Police have arrested a Bangladeshi man accused of running a work visa forgery racket in which he supplied purportedly legitimate visas at SR7,000 a time. A police report stated that the man openly advertised his services at places frequented by foreign workers giving unwarranted legitimacy to his activities and that undercover officers were sent in to pose as clients requiring urgent visas. Once a deal was struck the arrest was made. A police spokesman said the suspect was found in possession of “a considerable amount of money”.
