Security teams thwarted a plot by terrorists who aimed to create a state of chaos and fear, similar to that of Iraq. Sources disclosed to Okaz that an Afghan middleman was the link between Al-Qaeda's second in command Aiman Al-Zawahiri and a terrorist cell that was in the process of rebuilding the Al-Qaeda organization in the Kingdom in early December 2007. Security forces obtained the mobile phone of the Afghan male which included a message from Al-Zawahiri urging him to reorganize Al-Qaeda in the Kingdom. The Afghan was also urged by Al-Zawahiri to collect donations for needy families in Afghanistan and Pakistan in order to finance the organization. – Okaz __
