RIYADH: Two Indian nurses in the Daumat Al-Jandal General Hospital in the Al-Jouf region, who were earlier given “stop work order” a forerunner to job termination, were reinstated by the Ministry of Health, Monday. The nurses, Dency Sebastian and Nisha Chandran, were asked to resume duty forthwith in the same hospital. The fate of the third Indian nurse, who was also served “stop work order” last week is not yet known, a press release from the Federation of Keralite Association in Saudi Arabia, (Fokasa) said. The organization has taken up the issue of nurses with the relevant Saudi authorities. The nurses may have to sign a new contract with the same terms and conditions as their iqamas (resident permits) were canceled.
