RIYADH: Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan, Pakistani Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, arrived in Riyadh Friday on a six-day official visit to the Kingdom. Dr. Awan will hold talks with her Saudi counterpart Dr. Abdul Aziz Al-Khoja, Minister of Culture and Information, and discuss bilateral issues, particularly focusing on strengthening cooperation in the field of media. She will hold talks with Noura Al-Fayez, Deputy Minister of Education for Girls. The minister will visit Princess Noura Bint Abdul Rahman University and the Disabled Children Association (DCA). She will leave for Jeddah Sunday and will hold meetings with Saudi businesswomen at the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The minister will perform Umrah on May 27 and is also scheduled to visit Madina.
