RIYADH: The body of murdered Saudi diplomat Hassan Misfir Al-Qahtani arrived from Pakistan at King Khaled Airport in Riyadh Tuesday in the company of his bereaved father who had flown to Karachi after the news of his death Monday. They were met at the airport by Prince Muhammad Bin Naif Bin Abdul Aziz, Assistant Minister of Interior for Security Affairs and Prince Khaled Bin Saud, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Al-Qahtani's bereaved wife and two-week-old baby daughter. King Abdullah, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, spoke with Al-Qahtani's father by telephone to offer his condolences to him and the family ahead of funeral prayers after Asr at King Khaled Mosque in the capital's Umm Al-Hamam District. Al-Qahtani's father told Okaz/Saudi Gazette that despite his “immense grief” he was proud of his son. “He died a martyr in the service of his country,” he said.
