Prince Faisal Bin Abdullah, Minister of Education, and Abdullah Al-Rabeah, Minister of Health, donate blood at the start of a campaign in schools in Riyadh this week to encourage the public to help meet the needs of new hospitals and increasing the number of surgical procedures being carried out across the Kingdom. “Blood banks have lists of donors who are called upon in times of emergency, but the donation campaign hopes to send out a message to families through the schools,” Minister Al-Rabeah said. “The Kingdom imports no blood at all from abroad.” (Okaz photo) __
