The Vice Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, received here today President Mahmoud Abbas of the State of Palestine and his accompanying delegation. During the meeting, they reviewed the current situations in the occupied Arab territories, and what is being perpetrated by the government of Israeli occupation of military violence against Palestinian civilians, its continuing settlement plans, Judaization of Al-Quds city and the division of Al-Aqsa Mosque. The Vice Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques stressed to the Palestinian President the Kingdom's firm positions in support of the Palestinian cause, calling on the international community to shoulder its responsibilities and intervene to stop the Israeli dangerous military escalation against the Palestinian people, and what is being perpetrated by the occupation forces of heinous crimes against Palestinian civilians during the past few days under the pretext of the disappearance of three Israelis. For his part, President Abbas expressed his appreciation of the positions of the Kingdom under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and the Vice Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and the care and attention paid by the leadership and people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Palestinian people. The audience was attended by Prince Abdulaziz bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs. On the Palestinian side, it was attended by Member of Executive Committee of Palestine Liberation Organization, Dr. Saeb Erekat, and Ambassador of the State of Palestine to the Kingdom Basem Abdullah Al-Agha.
