During his field tour on last Wednsday and Thursday, Minister of Transport & Chairman of General Establishment of Railways Dr. Jubara Bin Eid Al-Suraisiri together with Director General of the Establishment and members of the Supervisory Committee, has clarified that Al-Haramein Fast Train Project is progressing very well and that the accomplished results are encouraging. IN addition, he has confirmed that the Ministry is keen to accomplish all the works related to the project as per the time schedule and accomplishment specified percentages. During his field visit between project sites, Al-Suraisiri has stated that a big advancement has occurred on all works of the project, especially in regard to construction of the stations which accomplishment percentage is approaching 75% as big leaps have been achieved during the last two months. He has added that a good development has been achieved recently which is represented by the civil works and the other constructions along the railway track, especially in the fourth and fifth areas which are currently witnessing completing the fixing of iron bars, electric cables and towers dedicated for providing the trains with the electric power.
