Presided over by its Speaker Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh, Majlis Al-Shoura held its 36th ordinary session here today. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA) following the session, Assistant Speaker Dr. Fahad bin Mutad Al-Hamad said that Majlis Al-Shoura approved a draft agreement between the Ministry of Labor of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Ministry of Labor and Employment of the Philippines. The agreement aims at regulating the contractual relationship between domestic workers and employers in addition to protecting the contracting parties. Majlis Al-Shoura also approved a number of memorandums of understanding on the exchange of financial intelligence on money-laundering and terrorism-financing between the Financial Investigation Unit of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its counterparts in the Democratic Republic of Algeria, the Republic of Montenegro, the Republic of Turkey and the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. Majlis Al-Shoura also approved a draft agreement on exchanging financial intelligence on money-laundering and terrorism-financing with the Russian Federation.
