Mubarak Al-Osaimi, the official spokesman of Ministry of Education, has confirmed to Al-Riyadh that the ministry has communicated with education departments and stressed on the importance of improving schools cleanliness and maintenance round the clock together with agreeing with cleaning companies with which contracts are made about this, providing disinfectants and sterilization kits, equipping school clinics properly and providing offices with sterilization tools. He has noted that each school of public education schools has got sterilizers and disinfectants for providing protection from Corona Virus, God forbid. He has elucidated that no single case of the said virus has been registered in public education schools. His Highness Prince Khaled Al-Faisal has stressed on the adopting the necessary procedures for prevention together with informing the education department about so. He added that the ministry if keen to follow up the said virus condition in the schools as it has a member in Infectious Diseases Committee related to Ministry of Health who is following this issue carefully and informing the ministry about any recent news. He confirmed that the role of ministry of education is a role of protection, orientation and awareness.
