"Mousaned" monitors methods of treating the female maids where protection is provided for everyone

Launched by Ministry of Labor for improving the profession of domestic workers

Ministry of Labor has declared its new service which aims at improving the domestic workers profession through an electronic program that has been given the name of "Mousaned." The program allows all parties to be familiar with their various rights and obligations, starting from the employment stage, through the actual work stage and ending by the stage of departure. The program provides the two parties of the relationship with the chance of filing claims/suits that shall be handled by committees specialized in resolving the conflicts that may occur between the domestic workers and their employers. This initiative has been applied after a series of agreements held recently between Ministry of Labor and some countries from where the domestic workers are usually brought through a condition that preserves the dignity and rights of both parties.
Psychological relief
Fawzia Al-Qahtani, a house wife, said that the past period had witnessed an almost stoppage in regard to domestic workers provision from some countries which led to a big crises for many families which are relying heavily on such workers. "The launch of "Mousaned" Program by Ministry of Labor may lead to granting the rights and obligations of this relationship parties which shall facilitate the dealing with the domestic workers in the future, if they are brought from the countries with which Ministry of Labor held some agreements recently," she added.
