The fourth session of the Saudi-Qatari Coordination Council, which was held in Doha during the period of 4-5 March 2013, issued the following joint communique: In an atmosphere of cordiality and fraternity that embodies the outstanding fraternal relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the State of Qatar and their brotherly peoples, and under their joint destiny and unity of goals and interests; and as per the guidance of the sublime and generous directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense, who leads the Saudi side to the Saudi-Qatari Coordination Council, and their brethren Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani of Qatar and Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, who leads the Qatari side to the Saudi-Qatari Coordination Council; And to realize the goals of the Coordination Council and which are represented in promoting bilateral relations in political, security, financial, economic, commercial, investment, cultural and media fields and other areas necessitated by the interests of the two countries; And in response to the generous invitation of Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, who leads the Qatari side to the Coordination Council, Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense, who leads the Saudi side to the Coordination Council, paid an official visit to Qatar on 4-5 March 2013, in the company of a high ranking delegation. During the visit, the Coordination Council held its 4th session in the city of Doha, where Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, led the Saudi side to the Coordination Council with the participation of Prince Mohamed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Interior Minister and Deputy Chairman of the Saudi side to the Coordination Council; whereas Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, led the Qatari side to the Coordination Council with the participation of Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor Al Thani, who is also the deputy chairman of the Qatari side to the Coordination Council.
