Visitors of Buraidah Spring Festive, currently ongoing in this central Saudi Arabia's city of Buraidah. were stunned to see more than 300 classic and rare vehicles still steering in the streets of Saudi Arabia and the Arab Gulf region. Vehicles whose models go back to a bottom of 1902 were displayed at a special pavilion for classic and ancient vehicles with engines and wheels moving in excellent conditions, to the surprise of big numbers of visitors who most of them came to the venue driving the latest and luxurious marks and models of the art from all the world's leading car manufacturing countries. What caused the visitors' astonishment was that, while they have no doubt that the most recent car factories' products are to fetch hundreds of thousands Saudi Riyals, it was today the most oldest, but functioning cars, were deserving the multi hundred thousand Saudi Riyals. In front of thier eyes, a Ford model 1955 fetched SR220,000 and another Ford actioned at SR320,000. Abdullah Al-Salamah, Head of the team of Classic Vehicles, said the idea which strated todya with more than 300 vehicles from different parts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the other Arab Gulf countries will continue in future exhibitions.
