The Saudi national campaign for the relief of Syrian refugees received today 9,000 frozen carcasses, split into three tranches of sacrificial meat 1433 AH Hajj. This sacrificial meat will be distributed later among Syrian refugees in Jordan, Lebanon and Turkey, with each country receiving 3,000 carcasses. The distribution will take place in the presence of a representative of The Saudi Project for Utilization of Hajj Meat, which is being managed by the Islamic Development Bank Group. In the same context, the Saudi National Campaign for the Relief of the Somali People received 10,000 frozen carcasses of the sacrificial meat under the project, which will be distributed to beneficiaries in Somalia similar to what was done last year.
