Prince Ahmed bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior and Chairman of Hajj Supreme Committee, has sent a cable to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, in which he congratulated the King on the complete arrival of pilgrims coming from abroad to perform this year's Hajj rituals. 'The number of pilgrims coming from abroad reached 1,752,932; of which 951,806 are male pilgrims and 801,126 are female pilgrims,' Prince Ahmed said. He also pointed out that they arrived in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by air (1,621,982); by land (113,020) and by sea (17,930). He also said that the pilgrims represent 189 nationalities from all over the world.
