Up to yesterday, the number of pilgrims arriving from abroad to perform Hajj rituals of this year reached 984,525, the Passports Department said in a statement. The statement said in its daily statistical report that 591078 pilgrims arrived via King Abdulaziz International airport of Jeddah, 348279 via Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International airport of Al-Madinah Al-Munawarah, 11004 through Jeddah Islamic port, 11655 by land across Halat Ammar inlet, 814 by land through Bat-ha inlet and 21695 through other inlets. Until yesterday 36602 Saudis and 6097 for expatriates inside the Kingdom were granted Hajj permits, the report said.
