Before the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Prince Ahmad bin Abdulaziz was sworn in at the King's Palace here today as new Minister of Interior of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Taking the oath before the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Prince Ahmad swore that 'He would be sincere to his religion, King and country, not to divulge any of the State's secrets, to remain loyal to its interests and systems and to perform his duties with the utmost credibility, faithfulness and sincerity'. Following the oath, the new Minister of Interior shook hands with the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques who, in turn, wished him every success. On his part, Prince Ahmad bin Abdulaziz expressed thanks to and appreciation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for his royal confidence bestowed upon him, praying to Allah Almighty to help him achieve all the success. The oath ceremony was attended by Prince Turki bin Abdulaziz; Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense; Prince Meqrin bin Abdulaziz, Chief of General Intelligence; Prince Khalid bin Turki bin Abdulaziz; Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Assistant Interior Minister for Security Affairs; Prince Colonel Pilot Turki bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz; Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Assistant Secretary General of National Security Council for Security and Intelligence Affairs; Prince Faisal bin Fahd bin Meqrin bin Abdulaziz and Prince Bandar bin Salman bin Abdulaziz.
