A strike in a safe society
Published in Alriyadh on 10 - 10 - 2011

Our Middle East, or Asian or African, let's put it aside and think of our Arab world situations. We don't need any evidences to clarify that it is going backwards scientifically and economically excluding the Kingdom, which is distinguished with the evidences of scholarships, universities and the diversities of the scientific and economic developments. This Arab world went through harsh religious dropdowns.
We properly know in the Kingdom how the religious extremism extended that we didn't know in the age of King Faisal and what is before except for Juhaiman's phenomenon, the Al Qaeda's organization that opened illegal bloody opportunities. I stop here in front of a reality that what we faced, and still facing, are two phenomena of Sunni extremism whether in Juhaiman's or Al Qaeda's concepts, and both are outside the legitimacy of Islam. But what grabs attention is that there was no Shiite belonging to Al Qaeda from any Islamic country. Thus we are in front of a strange phenomenon that we will cross without a doubt the same way we crossed the danger of Al Qaeda's spread and targeting our society more than any other Islamic or non-Islamic society, and we in our distinguished Arab society with its unified social linkage; that is from one side, and from another side the qualification of the security abilities that smothered whom are more dangerous than those tricked from the public.
This phenomenon is an attempt to move the existence of a Shiite-Sunni clash in our society, and this will not happen, and the evidences are at least clear in what published during three days of Shiite statements and opinions, not only this but also we don't have any annoying past in our memories, but –and this is what everyone should understand- we are experiencing a reality of multiple targeting of security positions in the Arab world and especially in our country. First to trouble the Gulf countries from one side, and second the event comes like a support message to Syria, and those interference were not known before if it was not for the change of the ruling system in Iran where there was any closeness between the Arab and Iranian Shiites before it, where in the contrary there was a mutual rejection especially in what Iranians believed of their distinguish from the Arab Bedouins. The contemporary Iran dreams of the return to Farsi country that existed before Islam, and it didn't move in reality any Shiite presence in the Kingdom but it tempted a limited reaction with Al Qaeda's implications, kill then die as a martyr. The wonderful thing is that the majority, both in number and expansion, is not with any side whether in east, middle or south, where everyone is with the man that will not reoccur in our Arab world, Abdulla Bin Abdelaziz, a man that didn't enforce his respect with power, but he celebrated the path of everyone with him to continue the achievements of science, economy and awareness under the presence of balanced Islamic enlightening.
