The sandstorm disturbs Jeddah flights and the passengers complain the mistreat Riyadh, Qusaim and Dammam passengers wail for long hours because of the indifference of airlines officers
In King Abdul Aziz Airport, many passengers who were waiting to return to Riyadh expressed their displeasure with mistreat and chaos of the Saudi Airlines officers who met their complaints with indifference and negativity. They said that they waited for long time and when trying to enter the planes they are told to get out because weather is not safe for flying to Riyadh. It happened again and again to the extent that some aged, women and children felt fatigue and exhaustion and the Saudi Airlines did not transfer them to hotels till the evening. Al Riyadh attempted in vain to call the public relation officer to enquiry about this problem and the indifference to passengers. The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) issued the statement explaining that air surveillance had received warnings regarding the lower horizontal vision because of sandstorm and dust in Riyadh and Al Sharqiya; so, some flights are delayed: arriving at Riyadh, Dammam and Qaysoma.
